Sheraton Mirage Resort & SpaMain Beach, Gold Coast |

This resort is also one of Australia's most popular conference, meeting, and event venues. The Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 1,050 people and is divisible into five sections. I would like Sheraton Hotels to have Chai Latte on the drinks menu. It has become a very popular drink and I find that you don't serve that. Many of the other hotels do. Please I would like to see that happen at your hotel chain.

When I think of the Sheraton Mirage all I can think about are the negatives.
1. for starters we were not informed about the $100 per day for "sundries". I didn’t find this out until I tried to use my credit card when returning from shopping one day (not happy Jan!)
2. porter did not take our luggage to our rooms, we had to do it ourself (and this is supposed to be 5 star. hhhmmmm. Didn’t have to do this at Hayman)
3. the price for ordering room service is outrageous (and they take forever!).
4. when we did order room service 1 night the dishes stayed there for the next few nights! (until we eventually called someone to get them).
5. the decor in the rooms are crap and are really crying out for a makeover.
6. you can hear people walking/talking down the corridor.
7. no balcony to go out and sit on and just unwind or have breakfast.
8. helicopters go past every day and it was really getting annoying after a few days, they are so loud. (sea world is nearby and they do helicopter tours).
9. its located out of the way of everything
10. there were conferences held most days we were there so it could get quite busy at breakfast and booking things to do at the concierge.
11. no nightlife here at all.
12. the buffet breakfast was very good and the staff we seen there each morning were excellent! (unfortunately this is the only positive thing I have to say)
overall a very disappointing holiday. and I must say was glad to leave. So cross this place of your list and stay somewhere else.
